While visiting, please feel free to explore our heritage garden and the upper floor of the Carter House.  You may also look through the Julia Bates Community Library while you wait for a fresh pot of tea.  Anyone interested in local history will want to examine our Walling map of Kings and St. John Counties, which lists the location of homes and businesses for the year 1862.
