Saint John River Day - June 24th/FREE (but donations gratefully accepted)11:30 AM - 3 PM

Meet us at the Saint James Church at 3365 NB-845, Long Reach, NB E5S 1W, at 11:30, where we will ring the church bells to celebrate Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day. After, join us for refreshments, stories, and a Lighthouse trail.

Historic Places Days- July 3rd to July 31st

Get and give by entering the #historicplacesdays contest for a chance to win $1000 for yourself and an additional $1000 for a historic site. From July 3rd to July 31st, join the Historic Places Day Organization and us in celebrating and sharing historic community sites by taking a selfie with your favourite historic site(s) and posting it on social media with #historicplacesdays. Be sure to tag the historic place, tag and follow @nationalstrustca, and post one selfie per day, to be entered into a random draw to win $1000 for yourself and $1000 for the historic site.

1810 Carter House and the John Fisher Memorial Museum are open for the season July 6th to September 4th

From July 6th to September 4th, join Kingston Heritage for tea and treat at 1810 Carter House. Foodservice is from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 AM to 3 PM; COVID-19 protocols are in effect and reservations are required. After tea, go over to the John Fisher Memorial Museum to see our new exhibit celebrating the history and heritage of the Kingston Peninsula. The museum will be open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 AM to 3 PM.

Bring your own blanket and join us for a picnic of sandwiches or cheese and fruit boards, lemonade, sweets, and of course, tea in our historic Carter House garden.

Charlotte's High Tea - August 16th/$20/ 2-3 PM, 4-5:30 PM, 6-7:30 PM

Join Kingston Peninsula Heritage for a night of fun and memory as we celebrate the legacy of longtime Peninsula Heritage member Charlotte Fullerton. Sample different types of tea, perfectly paired with an array of desserts and delicacies. Tickets are 20 dollars, and seating is limited. There will be three sittings, the first from 2–3 pm, 4–5:30 pm, and the final sitting from 6–7:30 pm. There will also be indoor and outdoor seating available.
