Jud White's - White's Bluff

Outbuildings:

A barn and shed sit to the left of the house

History and Style:

Jud White built this house to compete with his brother Sam who was also building a new home around 1905. He took great pride in his home and put great detail in every aspect of its construction. The main building is a two-story square structure with a hip roof and a rectangular ell on its south end. The exterior has numerous forms of trim work, including dentils, millwork, porch brackets, and corbels. The interior is trimmed with plaster crown moulding and ceiling medallions. The front hallway has a beautifully carved newel post and double doors.
