John Waddell House

This was the home of John E. and Alice Waddell, located off of the Mt. Misery Road. It had a central hall and staircase, with a large parlour on the left and a kitchen and dining-room on the right. There were four bedrooms on the second floor, one large and three small, with a seating area in the projecting dormer. The house’s two chimneys were located near the centre of the house, and there were three stoves. One in both the parlour and the kitchen on the walls facing the hall, and another in the largest bedroom on the second floor.

The house fell into disrepair after the 1960’s, and was torn down in the 1990’s.
