The Clifton

The stern wheeler, the Clifton, was built in Hampton in 1887. She was 91 feet long and had an 87-ton capacity. She replaced the Novelty on the Hampton-Indiantown run. The Clifton left Hampton every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 5:30 am and returned on the same days, departing from Saint John at 4:00 pm. She was burned beyond repair in 1905 at Reeds Point wharf.
